Inside the engineering

When infrastructure fails, messages still need a path.

Communication can disappear when cellular and internet infrastructure fails. ResQNet explores a local device mesh: nearby phones store and relay emergency messages without a server on the emergency path. A message still needs a reachable recipient within its lifetime and hop budget.

The approach: nearby devices persist signed messages and forward them through a local mesh. Delivery depends on a reachable recipient within the message lifetime and hop budget.

01 — About

Engineering what’s next.

I am a B.Tech Computer Science student at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, working on backend systems where correctness under concurrency is the hard part. With 2000+ problems solved, a LeetCode Knight rating of 2102 and a Codeforces Specialist rating of 1434, I pair algorithmic depth with systems thinking.

My engineering spans everything from production-style distributed backends to the internals of large open-source projects. I have built event-driven collaboration engines and messaging platforms in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and Redis, and I have shipped merged pull requests into Gradle, Spring Kafka, InsForge, Armeria, Apache RocketMQ, the Kubernetes Java Client, cBioPortal, OpenRewrite and JabRef.

Right now I am a Software Engineering Intern at DragonX Systems, where I own a CUDA-accelerated ASIC physical-design flow inside the OpenLane/OpenROAD toolchain — kernels, integration, build infrastructure, benchmarking and QoR validation end to end. I am looking for backend, distributed systems and infrastructure roles where that combination of systems depth and hands-on engineering is useful.

Most of what I build is not visible on screen. It is the ordering guarantee, the recovery path, the query plan and the load test that tells the truth.

Building GPU-accelerated ASIC physical design infrastructure by integrating CUDA-enabled components into the OpenLane / OpenROAD open-source EDA toolchain.

  • Owned end-to-end development — CUDA kernels, OpenROAD integration, build infrastructure, benchmarking, profiling and QoR validation.
  • Achieved 15.7× faster GCD timing repair and 62% faster Ibex GPU timing repair through CUDA acceleration and incremental STA.
  • Engineered a CUDA-accelerated OpenROAD timing-repair flow integrating GPU gate sizing, buffering and OpenSTA.
  • Built and configured the complete OpenROAD ecosystem from source on Apple Silicon — Yosys, Berkeley ABC, OpenSTA, Verilator, KLayout and OSS CAD Suite.
  • Containerised CUDA-enabled Yosys, Berkeley ABC and OpenROAD with Docker for reproducible deployment on NVIDIA infrastructure.
